Merry Christmas!

We had a really nice Christmas. It was so much fun because Dallin got really into it this year. Hailee had fun too, but like any 1 year old, she didn't really know what was going on, only that there was a lot of stuff to play with and she wanted nothing to do with the scary man with a big white beard dressed in red :)

Here is our family Christmas card. It was fun and easy to make. I just love technology.

Here are the kids with Santa on Christmas eve. Dallin was so excited. This was his third time seeing Santa this year. The first time he saw him, he didn't want anything to do with him. The second time he was a bit scared, but so proud of himself after he sat on Santa's lap. He got on his lap and talked to him for a second then quickly got off, turned around and said, "See! I wasn't scared of you this time! I sat on your lap!" The third time was at Grandma June's house. As soon as he saw Santa he got So excited and started dancing around. He Loved him!Hailee was not so excitedShe wanted OFF!
Dallin was so excited All month long for Christmas. It was funny though, he had forgotten about it Christmas morning until we reminded him.

Finally

I haven't posted for awhile because I have been super busy with the end of the semester and Christmas stuff. Anyway, no excuses! Here are just some pictures of things that have been going on lately.
Hailee and Dallin in front of the Christmas tree. Oh so cute!
Can you believe those big blue eyes? Hailee with bed head :)
I'm sure if you live around here, you know how much snow we have been getting lately. It started back toward the beginning of November... and has been on and off ever since. Dallin Loves playing in the snow. This was after the first snow storm of the season.
This is from after a Huge storm that hit us the week of Thanksgiving. It was awesome!
Random Hailee pics. She's getting so big!
I went in and checked on her before bed, and saw her like this. So relaxed.
I just love dressing up my little girl. Here are some little dress pictures after church, and with her first little pair of shoes! Hailee has the tiniest feet ever. She's over a year old now and still only wears 3-6 month old shoes. Its funny cuz her Daddy has size 13 shoe and her mommy wears size 10. We are definitely Not "little footed" people!
She's not so happy in this dress pick. But she sure looked adorable :)Here are some old pictures from last year that I found on Grandma Wright's camera. I was really excited to find some good newborn pictures of Hailee. I didn't even have a good picture of Hailee just wrapped up laying there when she was born. So here it is!Here she is with Grandma and Grandpa Wright. I loved the looks on her face. That's a cute little yawn that looks like a smile :)Wow what a difference one year makes! They grow up too fast!

Hailee's 1st Birthday

I can't believe my baby girl turned 1 this past week! She's growing up so fast!

Hailee and Dallin before the party. Dallin was way more excited than Hailee was because he knew he was going to get to "help" Hailee open her presents.

Me and my little Hailee
Dallin "helping" Hailee open her presents. He pretty much opened all of them. Every time I looked away he was opening another one of her gifts.

Dallin was so excited for Hailee's birthday all week. He even reminded me several times that he wanted to go to the store so he could buy a Snow White present for Hailee. It was so cute. We did go to the store and get a Snow White present and Dallin couldn't wait for Hailee to open it. Dallin ended up opening it of course, and then he wouldn't set it down all night. He wanted to play with it himself. Ha ha!
Hailee playing with her cute new ball toy. She sure was spoiled with great presents from all her Grandmas and Grandpas and Aunts and Uncles.
I was really lucky- a couple of weeks ago we had a Relief Society service auction and I was able to win the cake-making services of my friend Becki. She had a whole list of cakes that she could make, but I immediately chose the lady bug one because it is so cute- and it reminded me of Hailee in her Halloween costume and how we call her bug anyway.
It turned out so adorable! Before the real mess began. She was cute and all delicate using just her little fingers......then she discovered the frosting......and wasn't quite as delicate anymore. She made quite a little mess (I guess it could have been a lot worse) but the red frosting was a bugger!

Lots of Videos

I decided to go ahead and put all my videos from the past month on one post. I have some good ones showing some funny Dallin and some important milestones from Hailee, including: crawling, walking (with help) and waving. I can't believe how time flies!

This first video is so funny. We're working with Dallin on his R's and L's

This next video is of Hailee crawling. She actually started crawling back in September, but I never got a good video of it until a month later because she was always mad when we would put her on the floor and she had to crawl. Also, if you wait until the end of the video, you'll see a cute dance move by Dallin. He's such a character!

Hailee being so cute :)

Hailee started walking last week behind Dallin's little car. She loved it so much. She was going REALLY slow and taking tiny little footsteps. It was so cute!

Hailee was having so much fun walking around, but the problem was she was using Dallin's car. Dallin was pretty good about sharing most of the time, but sometimes he just wanted his toy back. We decided to let Hailee open one of her Birthday presents early (I know I can't believe her Birthday is next week!) We got her a little thing she could push or ride on also to help her with her walking. She loves it! Well Dallin Loves to race Hailee. Its hilarious because she couldn't care less, and she goes super slow, and Dallin just has a good ol' time thinking he's winning the race. Too funny!

Here's my cute little Hailee bug waving bye bye. She does it all the time. Even when I was playing the video back, I turned around and looked to see her waving at me because she heard my voice saying bye bye. Too cute!

Family Picture

So here's our desperate attempt for a family picture this year. I had been wanting to get one earlier before the weather went bad, so we just hurried and went outside and took the picture. I like to get one every fall- but this year I've just been so busy that the time flew by! (Oh and I'm too much of a cheapskate too that we don't hire anyone to take them for us) Thanks to Kyle's brother Terry, he just held down the shutter and we got about 50 pictures. With the help of photoshop we now have a family picture where everyone is smiling! (I'll tell you a little secret though- can you tell that Dallin's and Hailee's heads are pasted into here?) Yeah, that's my secret to get everyone smiling in the same picture! Ha ha :) (Even close up you can't even tell! I love Photoshop!)

Trick or Treat!

Happy Halloween! Here's my cutie little darlings in their Halloween costumes. Hailee's a lady bug and Dallin's a monkey. We were pretty unoriginal with Dallin this year- he wore the same monkey costume as last year because it fit and he wanted to be it again. (I'm perfectly fine with that! (saves me $20))Mad bugDallin is such a good big brother. He's trying to make Hailee happy. Our little Hailee Bug. Her costume is very fitting because we always call her little bug :)With Nana on her Halloween birthday!Dallin out trick-or-treating. We had a great time! We just went around our little neighborhood and Dallin ended up with quite a bit of candy! There's something in the bucket...Oh! its Curious George! It was so funny because I didn't even realize Dallin had found this little monkey in his toy box to take with him trick-or-treating. So cute!Annual Halloween donut-eating-contest at Grandpa and Grandma Wright's house. Dallin shared his donut with his cousin Lilly. Lots of fun! Here's Dallin wearing the wig of my Halloween costume. What a great Halloween!
