Videos for ya'll

So I thought I would just put all the videos together that I've taken in the past couple of weeks. I'm not a huge fan of watching videos on blogs, but I know some of the grandmas are!

This first video is of what Dallin does every morning when he finds out Hailee is awake. He is so funny- he can't WAIT for her to get up so he can start pestering her :)

The next three videos are Dallin singing some of his favorite songs for us. He just LOVES being on camera!

Itsy Bitsy Spider Song:

Monkeys in the Tree Song:

Abc Song:

I know most babies do this- Dallin did it a lot too when he was a baby. I just think its hilarious to see.

Kids

A few Saturdays ago, we went to Grandpa's house and pulled Dallin in the sled behind the fourwheeler. He thought it was pretty fun!

Sometimes when Hailee sleeps in her swing or carseat with her jacket on, she keeps her arms all the way outstretched. Its hard to see with this picture, but her arm is not leaning against the seat at all, it is just out in the air. funnyOur cutie Hailee in the swingThis girl has a LONG tongue! After I took this picture, I knew I had seen a picture kind of like this before...Wow! Any resemblance? That's Dallin!Isn't this just the cutest thing ever? Our Dallin- Gotta love it!He always loves having his picture taken. I tell him just to smile normally, and I show him, "like this" I say, and I smile at him- well, this is always how he interprets it. I guess I must look like that when I smile! Ha ha

Dallin loves his baby sister!

I caught Dallin in Hailee's crib after I left the room for just a second. He knows he's not supposed to get in the crib, but this was just too cute to get mad at him. Especially when he says, "cheese" when I took a video of him. He Loves his little sister so much!

The Coat

I have this really cute coat for Hailee- Its actually a 3-6 month size, so I haven't had her wear it yet, thinking it would be too big, but then I tried it on her, and it was really hard to get her little arms in it because its such a poofy coat. I decided to take pictures of her in it, because I don't think I'm going to try to get it on her again. This picture makes me laughKind of a "don't mess with me..." faceOf course we can't do a photo shoot without Dallin! :)Dallin and his beloved blanky

A Very Precious Moment

So I don't have any pictures of this, but I wanted to put it on here anyway because I use my blog as a kind of family journal, and this is a moment I don't want to forget. (I am also in the process of making my blog into a book- which is Very awesome)
We decided a week or so ago that Dallin was old enough he could start saying his personal prayers before bed time. I helped him once, and Kyle has been helping him since then. Ever since Hailee was born, Kyle has mostly been getting Dallin ready for bed because I have such a wonderful husband who is an amazing father and helps out a lot. Anyway, Kyle was gone playing basketball last night, so I was getting Dallin ready for bed and he told me he wanted to say his prayers. We knelt down by his bed, and Dallin turned to me, and I realized he was trying to help me say prayers. It was so precious! He was trying to be like his Dad. He whispered to me, "Heavenly Father.." and continued to talk about Momma, Dadda, Baby, and started naming his cars off one by one. In that moment it was hard to contain my emotions, it was so wonderful. I can't believe what a big boy he has become. I realized what a huge responsibility we have as parents to teach our children even when they are young. I know that Heavenly Father loves his little children so much and I am so grateful for Kyle who is such a wonderful father and teacher.
