New Family Picture

So here's our new family picture! I can't believe that we actually got one with all of us smiling. If you notice, Dallin is holding a phone. That was the trick to finally get him to smile. I'm lucky to have a friend like Kris who always does such an awesome job taking pictures. Thanks Kris!
Now here are some of the pics leading up to the good shot.

Right as we were taking the picture, Dallin threw his head back and bumped mine pretty hard. Notice, it doesn't even phase him (he's got a head of steel)

I love being a Mommy

Here are just some random pics that show a bit of how much fun Dallin is!

Cute messy face
Dallin LOVES to drive! He was getting up into this game all by himself (then I helped him the rest of the way) and probably would have stayed there for hours just driving away if I would have let him.
Dallin is so loving. He loves to give hugs to not only Mommy and Daddy, but kitties, doggies, other kids, stuffed animals, the vaccuum, and many of his toys. Here he is hugging one of his favorite toys. Its so cute, because he will hug, and say aaahh...

Freak Snow Fall

So if you are from around here, you know that there was a freak snowstorm last weekend. Well, it just so happens that My mom and my sisters and sis-in-law and Grandma were planning to have a girls' trip down to Twin Falls to go shopping and have fun with my sis and aunt that live down there. Well, needless to say, we had to turn around and come back. It was a blizzard! My mom said that she hadn't driven on such awful roads in a long time! (Thankfully she had 4-wheel-drive) There was seriously like 6 inches or more of snow on the ground and it was still coming! Well, the bad thing, was that when we turned around and started heading home, we ended up getting stuck on the Freeway for like two hours! We had passed a bunch of cars that had slid off the freeway, but this one was a big two trailer semi that had crashed and actually had started on fire. It was ridiculous. Luckily the guy was okay. I actually thought it was kind of fun to sit in the car and chat. We still went shopping in Pocatello that day too, and ate at Texas Roadhouse. yum. Its funny, the next night I saw on CNN that they had pictures from Heyburn, Idaho, (about where we were) and said that they hadn't had that much snowfall so early Ever! (since they started taking records in the 1800s) Whoa. I got some funny videos, unfortunately they are on my phone and don't work on here, but here are just a couple of pics.

Us stuck on the freeway- do you see the burning truck up there?

The next day at home- Is it Christmas?

OUCH!

On Tuesday Dallin took a pretty bad spill in the parking lot on the pavement. It was really sad because Dallin thought he was having fun trying to run away from Mommy. Well, Dallin ended up tripping and falling and hitting his head pretty hard. I thought that was the only damage he had done, until I noticed that his hand was all bloody! Somehow his hand had gotten under him, and anyway, it ripped off his whole nail, even from under the skin, clear down to his top knuckle almost. It was nasty. Luckily Kris Radford was with me, (she's a certified paramedic now) and she helped me calm down and try to take care of his hand. We took him to the doctor, and they ended up shoving his nail back in, and putting a couple of stitches in it to keep it on and protect it from infection. YUCK. Tell you what, though, Dallin was a trooper! He did pretty well for having to go through that. It was hard for me to watch. I'm just scared because everyone tells me this is the first of many bad accidents to come! I forgot how dangerous childhood is! I'm just glad it wasn't worse.

Wipes!

The other day we put Dallin down for a nap. We are usually smart and put the wipes out of his reach, but I guess this day we forgot. Oops.

Random pics

So I decided that I better upload some pictures that we had on our phones. It's a good thing someone invented camera phones for those of us who forget to bring our cameras with us.

Dallin, Daddy, and Grandpa Wright went out on the fourwheeler to go get leftover spuds left from the harvest. Dallin and Daddy rode in the trailer while Grandpa Wright drove the fourwheeler.

A few weeks ago I went to go get another "backup blanky" because he is just attached to this one blanky of his, and when it gets dirty, its hard for him to wait while its being washed. So I figured since they were only like $5.00, I decided to get a backup of the same one. He can't tell the difference, it's great! (I think I'll go back and get a third one)

I thought it would be funny to just put all the blankies in the cart with him. I think he thought he was in heaven!
Dallin likes hats.
Dallin is just like his Daddy, he LOVES fries and Tater Tots. But now he HAS to dip his fries in ketchup or fry sauce. He's actually really good at it and doesn't really make a mess. Its funny, we didn't even teach him, just one day the ketchup was sitting kind of close to him on the table, and I looked over and he was dipping his fry. He just figures if Mommy and Daddy dip, he wants to dip too!
