Spring!

We've had a beautiful Spring so far this year. I can't believe how hot it has been in April. Some days reaching into the 80's. That's unheard of! I definitely won't complain- because we haven't enjoyed a beautiful Spring like this for as long as I can remember. The only thing I am slightly worried about though is the fact that if it is getting this hot now, how awfully hot is it going to be in the Summer when I'm 9 months pregnant! Although- just two days ago we woke up to snow in the morning. Good ol' Idaho weather :) we can at least count on it to be crazy!
So here are a few pictures of the kids and what they've been doing a little bit this month. In these first few pictures, do you notice anything strange about the kids' faces?
Pink! There is a little girl Dallin's age who lives at the house where my kids are babysat when I go to work for a couple of hours each day. I went to pick them up and saw they had beautiful pink faces. I guess the little girl had wanted to give my kids a makeover with her kid makeup. Dallin, being the boy he is, refused to call it a makeover- so they decided his was a mask and beard.
Hailee's isn't quite as bad- a lot of it rubbed off before I picked her up.
We celebrated Kyle's Birthday this month. We made a cake, and the kids helped me put all 31 candles on there!

Hailee loves to have her picture taken. She asked if I'd take her picture with her cute little hat on. I love her pose!
For Dallin's preschool class, they have been having field trips this last month of school. They went to a movie, the firestation, Pizza Pie Cafe to make their own mini pizzas, and next week they're going swimming and having a swimming safety class. Dallin is so excited about all of his field trips- that's all he talks about and he counts down the days to each field trip.
These next few pictures are of him at the firestation with his class.
I was there with Hailee and she had just as much fun!

This last picture I took the other day of Hailee's "melt me" face. When she gets sad, she makes the saddest little face with her big blue eyes- Its hard to say no!

It's a....

We had an ultrasound appointment last Monday, and found out just what my Mommy intuition had suspected... we're having a boy! We're excited to add another cute little boy, and Dallin is really excited to have a little brother! Now, the hard part will be to pick a name that we like.
Here are some really good side profile views of the little guy
You can see his little mouth open in this picture. We were watching him take a drink. So cute!We had so many great ultrasound pictures, but these are just a few of my favorites.
Here are his cute little feet
This one is a cool close-up picture of his nose and lips.In other news around here, we've had a pretty good April so far. My all-day pregnancy nausea has subsided quite a bit, so I am finally feeling more up to doing things and being a better Mommy. Hailee is finally potty-trained. We're really excited for her. I decided to just relax and let her go at her own pace, and what do you know- one day she just decided she wanted to do it! Its been nice. Dallin started swimming lessons last week at the Aquatic Center. I figured now is a good time to have him take some lessons so that he can be a little more ready for Summer! Its just the beginner lessons, but I figure I will be able to swim with him this Summer and teach him a lot more.
We also had Easter last week. It was really one of the most beautiful Easter Days we have ever had. The weather was gorgeous.
Here are the kids getting ready for the Easter-egg hunt.
On the hunt-
At the end- where they found their little toys that the Easter Bunny left for them. They were so excited!
Dallin got a Joker to go with his Batman and Robin (he really loves Super Heroes these days) and Hailee got a cute little pink cape and mask. Dallin has one he got for Christmas that she always uses, so now they can both be little Super Heroes! Here are some more random pictures I've taken the past few weeks. I have a lot more of Hailee, but the problem she has lately is that she hates to leave her clothes on in the house. We're working on it- so that's why I haven't included a lot of the cute pictures I have of her. haha!

Dallin and Hailee buddies:
DallinIts so funny because even though Hailee hates wearing shirts and pants, she will continuously try on her different hats and shoes all throughout the day. Its so funny! Here's an example of the fun "outfits" she dresses herself up in.
