Thanks to Wal-mart, we had another awesome character cake featuring Lightning Mcqueen and Mater from Cars 2. Dallin picked out the cake himself. He was SO excited!

My little man is 4!
This week Dallin turned 4 years old. He was so excited to turn 4, but now he's already talking about his next Birthday when he's going to turn 5 :)

Pretty cute!
Little Hailee had a lot of fun too! She wasn't sure what to think at first of all the excitement!
Cheeseball Dallin :)
We invited all the Grandmas and Grandpas to our house. He sure was spoiled with all the presents!
He received a great variety of gifts this year! Last year it was almost All Thomas the Train stuff- and I thought he was going to get all Cars 2 stuff this year because he kept on telling everyone that's what he wanted. He did get a lot of Cars 2 stuff, but he also received a lot of other fun toys too! (Including of course some Thomas the train stuff which he absolutely loves also.) Here he is with a Chuck the Truck movie and little car from Grandma Charles.

Of course Hailee wanted to help out with the gifts too! :)
Here are some crisp new two dollar bills he got from Grandma and Grandpa Wright. I didn't even know they made those things anymore!
A Fishing pole from Grandma and Grandpa Wright. He can't wait to try it out!
Hailee helping out again with the presents :)
Some Cars 2 stuff!
We got Dallin a new bike! He was only slightly excited- he definitely preferred the other presents over the bike at the moment. I actually knew he would feel that way, because whenever we would go to the store and try out a bike he wasn't too excited. He's been perfectly content with his little trike. I knew he was getting a little big for his trike, so I decided to get him the bike anyway. He's actually been trying it out and liking it a lot more now that he's kind of figured it out

Hailee eating some Birthday cake!
Thanks again to everyone who came and for all the gifts. Dallin loves all of them and takes turns playing with each one! That kid really knows how to play with toys! :)

Summatime
So here is my overload of pictures of what we've been doing these past couple of months. Now that I'm done with school for the semester I'm finally getting caught up!
This first group of pictures is from when I ran the Bone and Back relay with some people in my ward. It was a 40 mile relay where we each had to run 5 miles up in the hills to bone and back... (hence the name :) Anyway, it was really a lot of fun! I had the last leg, (the hottest part of the day) and even when I thought I might die at the end, I felt like I had accomplished a lot. Luckily I didn't really have any hills in my leg, but there was quite a bit of pressure being the last one!
Here we are in the morning right before the race started. (The race started at 7:30am- I actually didn't end up running my part of the race until about 1:30)
Here we are at the finish line running in! (You can't see me, I'm up at the front) The people on our team decided to run into the finish with me.
Here are a couple of pics up in the hills. It was really a Beautiful day!
Here I am in my new orange shirt from the race after I got home.
The prize I got to bring home- A Huge ol' ugly blister!
Whenever I teach Summer School at South Fremont High School I have in my mind something I want to buy with the money I earn to help me get through those long 4 weeks. This year it was a trampoline! (I really think I wanted it more for myself to enjoy than for the kids) ha ha

These are the moments where I am so thankful to have such a wonderful husband and Daddy of our kids. It was so priceless seeing them all out there playing on the trampoline.
I love taking pictures of Hailee in her little dresses. I tried a "photo shoot" of her a couple of weeks ago and luckily I was able to get a few of her smiling even though she was kind of in a cranky mood.
Cute little piggytails

Dallin playing in the little pool. He loves sliding down the slide into it!

Hailee, on the other hand, doesn't really want anything to do with it
But she was sure cute in her little swimming suit anyway! :)
Hailee really loves taking a bath though!
Hailee loves these little sunglasses. She even wanted to go to bed with them on. I went in later, and there she was still laying in the dark with her little sunglasses! ha ha
Hailee loves playing with the measuring cups ALL the time. Who needs toys when you have kitchen items to play with?
Dallin and his significant other- Blanky :)
Trying on bike helmets at Walmart. He's got a good size noggin :)
Here's a picture I took for Dallin to show him the silly truck driving on the train tracks. Who knows what they were doing.
Here's a picture of a nice little nasty looking storm coming in. This is actually the storm that had produced a tornado kind of over by Aberdeen
My little asparagus treasures. I can't resist picking them wild off of the ditch banks. Delicious!
Here's a cute little video I thought I'd throw in. Hailee is so much fun at this age, she's starting to talk so much and copy little things we do. One thing she does a lot is shush me if I'm singing or something.

4th of July Weekend
We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. My mom rented a cabin up at Badger Creek near Driggs for the weekend. We had an awesome time of family, fun, and junk food! :)
Here is our attempt at a family picture. It would have been great, but Hailee didn't really want anything to do with sitting on our laps.
We got there Friday night. We were a lot later than we had planned. We ran into a few delays on our way there. A wreck on highway 20 in the construction area where we had to wait for 30 minutes or so, and then at the Walmart in Rexburg on our way out of our parking spot, someone else decided to pull out of their parking spot behind us at the exact same time, so we had a minor little collision. So by the time we got there, we didn't have much time except for setting up to go to bed.
Saturday morning, my mom put on a treasure hunt for all the grandkids, it was awesome! They had a lot of fun
My mom had gone all around the area and had hidden a lot of different clues for them.
Dallin
Dallin playing cars with cousin Mason in the cabin
Hailee and Kyle
Nana
A pic of my sibs and me. We hardly ever get to see each other all at once, so it was really fun!

Later that day we went to the cute little canoeing pond.

Nana, Kathleen, and Elsie getting ready to canoe too!

We were all having fun splashing each other, when my brother Brent accidentally tipped his canoe over with his kids! Luckily everyone was safe and had their life jackets on. I bet the water felt so good because it was so hot!
Saturday night we went to the celebration thing they do in Driggs where they have Glenn Beck as a speaker and then do fireworks afterward. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening. It was beautiful! Here is a picture of Glenn Beck up there on stage.
The fireworks were amazing. It would be impossible to have a bad view. We were actually clear in the very back sprawled out on the grass, but the golf course where it takes place is shaped like a gigantic bowl so everyone has a great view and less crowds! I definitely prefer this firework show over the Idaho Falls Melaleuca one!
Here's the entire family together. This hardly ever happens!
