Catch up... again!!

It seems like more and more I'm just playing catch up to keep up with the blog! I think the more overwhelming part is I get behind and think I have so much to catch up on, so I put it off and put it off until it builds up. Well, no more! I am going to start with just September for this post, and then do October, and then each kids' pictures and then family pics. So there is my commitment to get caught up on this blog! I've been super busy this semester as I am also taking a 3 credit class that takes up all my spare time, (and what I really should be working on right now).

SEPTEMBER
I'll just start out with the beginning of the month. Kyle, with the help of his Dad and brother Terry, were able to finish our fence in the back! It made a world of difference. They did a great job!
It just feels so much more private, even though we don't get a lot of traffic behind us anyway, but I am really loving not having neighbors immediately behind us. I love being able to see the sky and the storms roll in, and just a great feeling of privacy. Since we live in a cul-de-sac, we have an odd shaped yard. Immediately behind our house is a skinny backyard, but we have HUGE side yards. Its nice, because then it spaces the neighbors out even more :)
Here's a pic of the kids playing in the sandbox in the backyard. Its awesome, I picked up this nice sandbox table at DI for $8, and it has a lid and everything. I set up the huge patio umbrella, and the kids are good to go for as long as they desire out there in the shade!
Here's Dallin on his first day of 1st Grade! I can't believe how fast he's growing! Love him!
On the topic of school, this is one of the first things that Dallin brought home from his class. He has such an imagination. I love seeing the artwork he brings home of his Nintendo Games and Superheroes.
I thought I better take some pictures of Dallin with all of his teeth, because I knew he was going to lose them soon...
...and it was a good thing I did! Dallin lost his first tooth on September 11th.
He was pretty excited!
(By the way, do you like his tie he wears with basically everything when he's at home so he can pretend to be Donkey Kong?) haha

Here's a picture taken on one of our lazy days. I love hanging out in my bed with my 3 precious little ones around me. I sure love being a Mom!
Beautiful sunset just down the road. The picture doesn't do justice! We live in such a beautiful place!
The kids riding their bikes outside in the evening. Gotta enjoy the warm weather while it lasts, because Fall was just right around the corner!
My pretty little dancer! Hailee started dance classes this month. She loves it!
I started taking a class this semester just to keep up on my re-certification requirements. I like learning, but sometimes its just kind of annoying to have to take so many credits every 5 years. I'm very grateful that I have an awesome job where I can take my credits for free :) So, the online class I was taking required that I upload a picture for the discussion board. I'm not a huge fan of "selfie's", but I decided to do it anyway. I love that most of them ended up with all the kiddos with me (You Have to Love Dallin's expressions!)
Okay, okay, so here are some serious ones...
...and the one I chose for the class:
(not too bad I guess.. I was having a good hair day..)

We had a crazy Thunderstorm the night of September 16th. I had never experienced a Thunderstorm that lasted ALL NIGHT LONG before, and it was really loud and obnoxious. It was pretty strange weather. Well, we woke up the next morning to a pretty rainbow. I had actually never seen a morning rainbow before! I wondered if it was Mother Nature's way of saying she was sorry for the storm and keeping me up most of the night!
Just a fun picture of Star Wars guys seen at the Spud Days parade in Shelley. I didn't see them in the parade, but I was told they looked fantastic when they had their masks and helmets on too
Here's just a fun little pic of a "house" that Dallin and Hailee made for themselves that they played with for weeks out of one of our moving boxes. I finally decided to throw it away, but I wanted to take a picture of the drawings that they had. If you look closely, you can see Dallin wrote: "Dallin and Hailee's Home"
So there you have September! Hopefully I'll get October up here soon. I know I have an overload of pics and stories for October, so brace yourself!
