Why I Like Winter

I really don't hate winter like a lot of people do. I actually enjoy it quite a bit. The only thing I don't like about Winter is the months where its supposed to be Spring, but its still snowing and cold and wet. But through January and February, I like to enjoy my snow!

First of all, I LOVE to snowboard and ski. Here are a few pictures of the few times we've gone so far. I'm hoping to go more before the season ends!
Here is me and my friend Becki. We went up with a few ladies of the ward and I taught them how to snowboard for the first time. They actually did really well! It was a lot of funThe ladies I went with
I also got to go with my friend Kris and her sister Kelli.Me and Kris
Me being weird with my snowboard :)Me and my snowboard have been through a lot together... many many years :)
There's enough pictures of snowboarding for you- Hopefully I'll be able to get some pictures of some snowmobiling or sledding soon too (some more reasons why I like Winter)
Here are some more pictures of another thing I like to do in the Winter:
Play outside in the snow with Dallin!
Our Snowman. Can I just say, he did look cute for about a day. I didn't realize that the candy mouth I put on him would smear and look like blood dripping off his face. I should have gotten a picture of it before I kicked it down today- but I'll just say, he looked pretty creepy! Now if we aren't outside playing in the snow, we are trapped inside trying to be creative.
Dallin has an Easter Bunny Mr. Potato Head. It was so funny, I looked over and saw Hailee with the bunny mouth in her mouth! She did it herself!
Dallin wanted to try it out too (he's done it before, but here it is again :)Here's just a little picture I took one night after checking on Hailee. You can't really tell how many there are, but just know that the few wipes you see there were times 20 in her crib and she was laying on a big pile of them. Silly girl :)This is the final reason why I like Winter (January especially): My Birthday! It was my "Golden Birthday" this year. I turned 29 on the 29th. I can't believe I'm getting old! Well, I'm planning on staying 29 for the next few years :)
Kyle made me this cake as a surprise. It is delicious! He is so awesome. What a wonderful husband I have!

Kiddos

Here's my baby girl in her little Wintery outfit for church. So CUTE!
My cute little guy Dallin with his little Tom Brady football figurine. He is definitely loving the football season with Daddy. Kyle is training him for life. Dallin can already name all of the teams just by seeing their uniforms or mascots. I can't even do that!I Love this little guy so much!I love the way Hailee's hair looks after I take out her little pig tails. Hailee being so cute playing with her little babies. I've found her several times in her bedroom playing with her babies and feeding them a bottle. I Love my kids so much!

Stuff at the Wright's

Here are some memories and pictures taken in the past month or so that I just hadn't had a chance to put on here.

I found this first picture on Kyle's phone. It was way back in October when I had borrowed this Halloween wig. Hilarious!
Hailee drew a picture for us... on the floor. I caught her drawing with a pen she had found. She just Loves to draw. That's why for Christmas we got her a mini magnetic doodle thing. (Less messy) :)

I'd say officially on December 18th, Hailee learned how to walk. Now she is just on the move everywhere! Its so cute. She looks too little to be able to walk.

Here's my pretty little girl in the cutest little tutu that one of my friends made for her. She is so cute!
Kyle got me a Wii Fit Plus for Christmas. Its been so fun! All of us love to do it. Especially Dallin. There's a running game where he just has to run. He Loves it. He's always asking to do it. Its definitely great exercise. I've even set it for 10 minutes and he just ran in place the whole time! We have to set his blanket down to remind him to stay behind it. Otherwise he'll just run right up to the tv. The funniest part of it is that he can't keep quiet while he's running.

There's something about my kids and their blankies. They just love them so much. Dallin loves to have his blanky wherever he is playing in the house (we don't let him take it with us anywhere outside of the house) and if he ever gets upset, that's the first thing he runs to- blanky, and Then Mom or Dad. We all know blanky is first place in his eyes. Ha ha. Hailee is following in her brother's footsteps. She does this funny thing where to comfort herself, she'll hold the blanky up to her lip and suck on her bottom lip. She just likes to feel the fuzz. Its funny, because she doesn't really care which blanky it is, but it Has to be the right texture. I had her sleeping with a different textured blanky the other night and she kept on waking up mad until I finally traded blankies. She didn't wake up again.
