Happy 4th of July!

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! I know that we did! Grandpa and Grandma Wright set up their trailer in a place where we could see the fireworks, and we had dinner, (which was delicious of course) and we played games, talked, and watched the fireworks. After the fireworks we enjoyed ice cream. It was so nice. It was definitely a lot more relaxed than fighting the crowds before, during and after the fireworks. We all just lounged around after the fireworks were done and ate ice cream and talked and watched the fireworks that all of the good citizens of Idaho Falls were lighting off. I say, thanks for all of those who like to light the illegal fireworks, because they are definitely a lot more fun to watch! This was Dallin's first 4th of July, and I can definitely say he liked the fireworks in the distance more than the ones close by. (he hates the noise) But he was definitely a bit cranky and tired by the time 10pm rolled around. Thankfully he had mommy and daddy's phone to play with. (sorry to all you who he might have accidentally called) But we had so much fun!

Dallin likes any type of ball. I think that his first word is ball, but he mispronounces it and says doll. But its fun. He plays a game where I roll it or throw it to him and he then "throws" it back (actually just hands it to me) but he's so excited he claps his hands. It keeps him entertained for quite a while.

Dallin and his cousin Lilly. Its funny because Dallin just LOVES other kids. You can see that he is wanting to give her a hug. Lilly on the other hand, is not very amused.


This about sums up what Dallin was like towards the end of the evening. Just bored and ready for night night!
