Catchin' Up

If I don't update the blog for a couple of weeks, I start getting overrun with pictures. I just want to capture every moment with my beautiful kiddos, because they are growing up too fast!

Speaking of growing up too fast- here is Dallin on his first day of preschool! He was so excited to go.Here are some pictures of Hailee at Grandpa and Grandma Wright's house. She looked so cute in her little dress, I wanted to see if I could get a good picture. Its funny, because when they're this age, its almost impossible to get the perfect pose, but you sure get a lot of fun ones!

I have to chase her around to even try to get her face in the shot :)
Sad...
Doesn't know what to think..
There we go! So cute!Messy face girl!I just love her face in this one!
Here I am playing at the lake with some friends. We had a blast!Getting ready to jump in
Here we go!
Dallin and Hailee are the best of buds.... (most of the time :) Its so cute to see them playing together.
Here they are enjoying some of the last days of SummerEnjoying chicken nuggets. If you look closely, you can see the apple in Hailee's bowl that she was dipping in ketchup. Yummy! ha haA little video of Hailee talking

Here's Dallin on the huge slide at Spud Days. He was having a lot of fun, but it was hilarious, every picture I took, he looked like he was terrified! It didn't stop him from going up and down though!
At the top..Goin down..and again...(take a close look at his face :)So I know its still kinda early for Halloween, but I was looking at Halloween costumes for the kids, and I came across this one. It was hilarious- I brought it home just so Dallin could try it on. He was so funny in it and he loved it. I ended up not keeping it, because it was just a little bit too small, and also Kyle thought it wasn't nice to have him dress as the devil. But it was sure funny to see him in it! ha ha Pulling the mad face :)Here's Hailee being silly in my flip flops and stickers all over her body. I just love moments like these!Hangin' outside. Hailee loves to play outside and never wants to come in!So here are a few extra random pictures:
This first one is a picture of some Bolivian drink mix called Api. I had brought it home with me from my mission with the intention of making it some day. Well, that day never came, and I found it in our pantry and decided it was time to toss it. I decided to take a picture first just so I could remember it. It was a pretty interesting drink. Served hot, it was a thick, yummy, but almost mediciny tasting semi-sweet drink. Hey, I liked it enough I brought this much home :)Here's me being strange. The "in" thing around here is to put feather extensions in your hair. I make fun, but truthfully, I had my own in my hair during the Summer (including a blue one! It was fun :) Well, I was feeling random, and found a feather from Kyle's feather pillow. Using one of my links for the hair extensions, I put it in. I know, I'm weird. ha ha!I'll finish out this post with the bug encounters I've had this month.
This first one was of a huge spider on our door step. I'm sure glad I caught this thing before he got in the house. The picture doesn't do justice- he was huge! Here is one of the ickiest looking caterpillars I've ever seen. We found it at Grandpa Wright's house. It was huge!
When you touched his backside, he would stand up like this, stick out his antennae, and sway back and forth. Trying to be tough and boy was he ugly!
If you haven't had enough, here's a video really showing his ickiness. ha ha
