A trip to the museum and other fun stuff

I took Dallin to the Museum of Idaho last week so he could see the neat dinosaur exhibit. He loved it!
Here he is in front of the main exhibit "Sue" the T-Rex.

In the Discovery Room (I think that's what it's called), where they had a lot of different things for kids to look at and explore.
I know all the pictures aren't the greatest quality, but I didn't know we could take pictures in the museum until I actually got there. I was just glad to have my little camera phone. It was so fun to watch Dallin go from display to display so excited and sounding like the expert when he was explaining to me about the dinosaur bones. I want to go on another Mommy-son date again soon!
In other big news around the Wright household, we got the kids a bunk bed! We got the kind that turns into two twin beds, and we were going to just set them up in their own separate rooms, but then we decided to just go ahead and put them together for now so we wouldn't have to mess with moving them around once the baby comes. Surprisingly the two have done really well sharing Dallin's room. Hailee still has her own room for all of her clothes and toys, but she sleeps in the bunk bed in Dallin's room. I thought it would be more of an adjustment for both of them, but so far its worked perfectly! We have had to have a few practices to show Dallin how to get in and out of his bunk quietly without waking Hailee. He's always such an early bird.
Hailee had actually been sleeping in her crib up until now. You never know how a kid is going to do when they move to a "big kid" bed, but Hailee has done wonderfully. The only thing that she has done is a couple of times at night she'll get out of bed to go get a book or something to read in her bed. I think last night was the first time she woke up in the middle of the night and was a bit confused when she came out of the room at 2 in the morning to find the house dark and everyone was sleeping. She came in our room a bit confused, but then I was able to put her right back to bed and explain to her that everyone else was sleeping too. Its so cute how when we make the beds, its like a magnet for the kids to go sit on them and play. When I made them the other day it was funny because both Dallin and Hailee sat on their beds for about a half hour just hanging out. Here's a video of the kids in their new bunk beds.

Here are some more random pictures of the kids and how they are such fun entertainment!

Dallin's been really big into superheroes lately. He's probably the toys' favorite kid, because he does a good job at taking turns. Some weeks its trains, other weeks its cars, and lately its the superheroes. Dallin has some Superman pajamas, but he was asking me other day confused why his pajamas didn't have the underwear part that superheroes usually have on the outside of their clothes. A moment later, he came in the room explaining to me that he had solved his problem. He just went ahead and took his underwear off and put it on the outside. There. Problem solved. ha ha!While Dallin is in superhero mode, he has his little side-kick, Hailee. She brought me a bib the other day and asked me to make it her cape. Here's a picture of her wearing the bib as the cape. Little does she know that the Easter bunny is planning on bringing her a cape just like her big brother's but pink!
Here's another picture of Hailee with her crayons. I mentioned in the last post that Hailee LOVES to color. Take a look at the picture- can you tell which color is her favorite to color with? Yup. All 6 of her crayons are purple! Hailee has cute little curls, and its always so funny to see her hair in the morning. Its like a fun little surprise to see what hair-do has occurred during the night.

Here's a funny video of Hailee getting mad over the silliest little thing. (Dallin wasn't singing the song right) Love it!

Don't be grossed out by the next picture. I decided to take a picture of myself since I hardly ever do, just to remember how I look before I start to swell with the pregnancy. I always get so huge, so I need to remind myself that I can go back to normal after the baby comes :)Me and some of my friends from the ward hung out last weekend and had so much fun. One of the things we did was go shopping at Ross and try on some awesome animal print leggings. It was hilarious! You can see my baby bump is already poking out. In the end, I really was thinking about maybe buying them for myself, because they were so comfy and only $5. But everyone else chickened out, so I decided to hang them back on the rack. Maybe they'll still be there when I go back sometime. I wouldn't be surprised!
