Well its time to play catch up again! I'll start out by saying in November we found out we are having another girl! I didn't believe it at first because I thought for sure we were going to be having another boy but the ultrasound showed us differently! I guess we won't know for sure until she is born, but with the two ultrasounds I've had it definitely appeared to be a girl. And she's a cutie!
The same day we had our ultrasound was Hailee's Birthday. One of her presents was to find out she was getting a little sister. She's pretty excited!
Hailee turned the big 5. I can't believe she is growing up so fast!
She had a little party with some of her friends and they had a lot of fun.
Owen had fun too :)
Hailee had a great Birthday and was spoiled with lots of nice presents
Such a little princess!
Here are some more random pictures throughout the month:
Its always fun to get my phone back with random selfies from the kids. They are so cute
Painted faces from a church carnival:
Emmett from the Lego Movie
Butterfly Face
We had our first snow storm in early November and Hailee was pretty excited to play in the dusting of snow :)
We had some new neighbors for a few weeks. I know its silly to take a picture of cows, but after living in a subdivision for 7 years with the only view being other people's houses and finally moving to another house and being able to see out our back window, it was pretty cool to have some cows as neighbors :)
Kids being superheroes. I love it when they play so well together!
Hailee always likes her picture taken. This was one of the nights she asked for a picture with her matching dolly in pajamas. :)
Here's another one with Hailee's little creation. She came up with this and made this all herself. Its a hat that she can wear when I ask her to do something. It says "Ok Mom" What a creative little girl!Speaking of creative- Hailee is so artsy. She took this little plate from her kitchen set and drew an exact replica.
We had a busy December like always full of parties and dinners and Christmas festivities. My work Christmas party was at Mountain River Ranch and it was great!
Here's some pictures from Dallin's little school Christmas party
Ward Christmas party with Santa (too bad Owen didn't really want anything to do with Santa so I decided to not force him to sit on Santa's lap :)
Preparing for our Orchestra Christmas Concert. It was funny because when the youth choir got up to practice, Owen got right up there with them and stood and tried to sing through their entire practice. Pretty funny (especially in his Burger King crown he's worn off and on all month long) haha
Waiting for the concert. Cuties
The many faces of Dallin
Kyle and I went to a Christmas party with an ugly Christmas sweater contest. I bought a couple of cheap sweaters at DI and then we went to the dollar store for the embellishments. It was pretty fun to make them.
Everyone especially loved Kyle's sweater. He thought the design up himself. It was so great he even decided to enter his picture in the local tv station ugly Christmas sweater contest. He was a winner!
Adding to the busy-ness of our month is our anniversary. Kyle and I celebrated 10 years! Time has flown by! He got me this pretty flower arrangement.
Of course we can't forget our Christmas pictures! Santa got Dallin and Owen some light sabers. They've definitely not been my favorite gift from Santa. (The boys love them, but I'll have to tell Santa to be careful with the destructive gifts he brings next year. haha)
Opening presents
It was hard to get Owen to stop long enough to take a picture :)
We had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day snow storm. We got a lot of snow and the kids had a great time playing outside on Christmas day.
Hailee took her little play ice cream cone outside and was making snow ice cream cones or "snow" cream cones.
The kids played outside for hours! What a great way to spend Christmas.
