Since Laila's Birthday is the 1st of April, I get to start each month with a picture of her. On June 1st, she turned two months old! Time flies! She's such a cute chubby little bundle of joy to our family. We love her so much!
Speaking of chubby, take a look at those saggy cheeks!
First time in the big bathtub. She loves her baths!Dallin's end of the year field trip. They went to the planetarium, the gardens at BYUI, and hiked on the Cress Creek Trail. Here is a picture of Dallin and his class at the gardens.
Dallin had his last day of 2nd grade! I can't believe I'm going to have a big 3rd grader soon!
He's funny, because he has the hardest time with taking pictures outside because his eyes are so sensitive. Here is a picture comparing his first and last days of school. He's definitely gotten taller! At his Dr. appointment the other day, they told me he is about 54% for weight, but 87% for height.
Impromptu kid photo shoot
Here is Laila with her little cousin Daxton who is 10 days younger than she is. They are about the same weight, but she's pretty long.
Cute Owen in his new big kid car seat. He doesn't really take naps much anymore, but still gets tired in the afternoon sometimes, so if we ever drive anywhere, he always falls asleep.
We got another new member of the family! We decided it was time to get a cat so the kids could have something else to love so they don't smother Laila all the time haha. He's a cute rambunctious little guy. He's always on the go, so his name, "Sonic" fits him. We decided his middle name is "Templeton" because on the front of his face there's a white spot that looks like the Idaho Falls Temple. He's a fun kitty.
We signed up the kids for baseball, so June evenings were filled with a lot of baseball games.

Hailee dressed up. She never ceases to amaze me with how many little outfits she changes into all day. This month she's done a lot of ballerinas
Cute pretend mad face
Speaking of mad faces, take a look at this mad face collage that Kyle made. haha!Holding mad face Laila:

Kyle was gone working when Hailee came running upstairs and told me there was a mouse stuck in our window. Sure enough, a little vole had chewed a hole in the screen and was stuck between the screen and the window. Mice seem to always fall into our window wells. We've found some other holes in the screens in our window wells. I wasn't sure what to do, but finally came up with an idea to trap it in a jar. Well, long story short, I got it in there. But after we had him in the jar, we didn't know what to do. In the end we took the jar to our neighbors house so her dogs could have a fun toy to play with.

Cute Laila again
I never get tired of looking at the sky and the beauty that surrounds us. I'm just thankful that we have a view out our back window to enjoy every evening.
Here is our first trip to the splash pad. We had plans to go to the spray park in Rexburg, but when we got there, it was closed for maintenance and cleaning. Come on! So we went to the little tiny splash pad in Iona. The kids had fun though and that's all that matters right?
Fun with little Laila in Hailee's room. I thought it was adorable that Laila fit perfectly in Hailee's doll stroller :)
Laila isn't having much fun anymore... haha she doesn't stay happy for long once you set her down
We were on an evening walk and asked our neighbors what animals they kept in cages in their garage. They invited us to come look, and lo and behold... quails! They keep quails so they can eat their eggs just as someone would keep chickens. They gave us a few eggs to try out. They were actually really yummy because the yolk content of each egg is more than a regular chicken egg. It tasted just like more of a buttery egg. They are pretty tiny though, so you need quite a few quail eggs to equal one chicken egg. I liked how the eggs matched my kitchen counter :)
Dallin wanted a new "family" picture with the new kitty
We've been working on potty training this month.... Oh man this little boy is stubborn. He can sit on that potty for hours without going. Here he is after falling asleep. haha
Kyle ran the "To Bone and Back" relay again this year. He got stuck with the uphill leg again. He did great though!
Here is our first trip to the lake this Summer! We had fun! I can't keep Dallin out of the water- he sure loves to swim! We had fun wake surfing with Kathleen. Do you love the pic of my feet with rabbit ears? haha that's Dallin for ya
Love my little girl and how sweet she is. She brings me flowers almost every day. Here her flowers were accompanied by a cute little card and she even tied a ribbon around the flowers :)
Prepping our nails for the 4th of July!
We're getting ready for Dallin's upcoming baptism! He's really excited. We decided to go take some pictures after church so we could make his baptism invitations:
The final product. I'm kinda proud :)
