April 2016

Some little cutie pie turned 1 on April 1st! I can't believe how fast this year flew by! She is such a sweetheart and always on the go. We love her so much!
This little cake is all for her! Look at that determined expression on her face!
Nummy!
So, we got our cake at Walmart and they did a pretty good job, until you looked closer at the frosting. Do you see that huge long black hair intertwined in the frosting there? Yeah. Disgusting. I called them right away, and told them about the hair which they denied, because "they wear hair nets". Well, I had proof and you can't really misinterpret where that hair came from since its inside the frosting. In the end, they did give me a refund and we just cut that huge chunk out and luckily still had the baby smash cake for Laila.
Our smart little speller. Can you figure out what she spelled here? She knew she didn't spell it all correct because she's limited to only one of each of the letters! Pretty good if I say so myself.
This is what we were making for dinner. Mashed Potatoes and Corn.
 Here's Owen!
LOVE this picture of adorable Hailee and her umbrella. She loves to be all cute and dressed pretty. Especially with her umbrella!
Here's another one of Hailee's clever outfit creations: Piano girl!
We had an orchestra concert this month and Kyle was a featured tuba soloist! He did awesome!
Laila was really babying her arm for a few days, and she would cry out when we touched it. She had just barely had her one year doctor appointment where they gave her some vaccinations and also drew some blood from her finger. I thought maybe she was just hurting because she had tried to pull away really hard when they pricked her finger to draw blood. After a few days though, we could tell it was still hurting her. I decided to take her in to the doctor thinking that they would just tell me it was sprained or something, but come to find out that both of her little arm bones were fractured! Luckily babies only need to be in casts for a week or two so it wasn't bad. But we still don't know how she did it! The doctor said it was the kind of break that happens when a baby falls and tries to catch themselves. Poor little Laila!
Daddy playing "Scary Batman" on the PlayStation. I just thought this was so cute with the boys watching him with their Batman and Robin dolls.
 Matchy matchy Sisters!
Hailee and Laila with Grandpa Wright for his Birthday
Cute picture I found of Dallin that Hailee drew on her white board.
 Very good resemblance!
 Happy Birthday Daddy!
 Funny little Laila
She sure loves her big brother Owen!
I downloaded a new app that I hadn't tried before called Snapchat. It's hilarious because there are so many funny things that you can do with your face. Here are just a few examples of one called the face swap.

Too funny! What a great month we had!

Okay that hair is disgusting and poor little Laila! That makes me so sad!
