April

Spring is here! We had a lovely Easter, and the weather was perfect! Here are some pics of the Easter Egg hunt and get-together we had at Nana's on the Saturday before Easter.

Cute little Hailee having fun
...and Owen one more time :)
Going through their haul!

Here are some more pictures of some things we did in April.

First off, Dallin and Kyle went to a Monster Truck show in Pocatello. They had a great time! Dallin still talks about it!
Kyle's Birthday! Hailee and I wrapped most of the presents as you can see his pretty pink bags she picked out :)
Little Cheezer Owen
Owen absolutely LOVES Mickey Mouse. He loves watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and would watch it all day if he could. He calls it Tootles because of the little thing on the show called Tootles. He's even learned how to start the show over on our DVR when it finishes. Such a funny little guy! Here he is asleep snuggling with his Mickey Mouse :)
I love this picture of these two after church. They are so cute!
Pretty Hailee
Hailee still draws and colors ALL the time. One of the usual things she does while I get ready for work in the morning is bring me her newest masterpiece. I love to see all of her creativity!
Here are some little Easter eggs she drew for Easter time
This is a picture I captured before church one day. She was mad and fighting with Dallin and she folded her arms and made this funny little mad face. You can see she was fighting back a smile a little bit because I was giggling and taking her picture :)
Kyle and I out for an ice cream date with Brent and Jill. It was fun!
This picture is actually from March, but I forgot to post it. This is one of Dallin's school pictures he brought home. What a handsome little guy!
Me and my little buddy trying out the webcam on my new computer
Of course I have some more Pizza Pie CafĂ© pics. We eat there WAY too much!
Hailee with her painted princess face after we picked her up from a Birthday party. She was dressed like a princess while we were in town running errands and getting groceries. It was so cute to see the other little kids point at her. She felt so special :)
These two do get along once-in-a-while...
Messy little Owen. He's getting better at getting more food into his mouth than on his lap!
One day on my way to work I was almost to Rexburg when I noticed something pull out onto the highway in front of me. I thought... Could it be?... Can it really drive that fast?.... and YES! It was, and it really was driving fast! It took me awhile to catch up to it, but I did, and here are some pictures of the Wiener Mobile! (sorry- ignore my cracked windshield...)
The last little experience we had in April was pretty sad. I finally decided we could get the kids a little kitten. They promised to help take care of him. Some of our friends had a litter of 5 kittens that they were giving away. We went over and picked out the cutest one. He was adorable and very sweet. We got him home and the kids loved playing with him. However, after only having him two days, I came home to find him laying in his box really still and barely moving. Even after we touched him he wouldn't move and he could barely meow. It was so sad! I hurried and took him back to the house where we had got him from to see if there was anything we could do or if having the kitten by his siblings and Momma cat would help him, but there was nothing we could do. Even when we got there, we found out two other kittens had died also. We are thinking the kittens contracted Distemper, a highly contagious disease that is passed easily through cats. Adult cats are more immune, but it can be devastating for kittens. Come to find out after several days, all 5 kittens had died. It was definitely a sad experience and pretty tough for Dallin and Hailee to see this happen to their first pet. But we had a good talk about how out little kitty was going to heaven and how he was going to be okay. I hope to get the kids another pet sometime, but we might wait a little while longer. This little kitty's name was Mario.
