We had such a fun July that I took WAY too many pictures! I weeded them out and am posting about half, which is only.... 79 pictures! So, this just might be the longest post I've ever posted! I'll start out with our 4th of July which was awesome just like it is every year :) The day before the 4th we went down to Grandpa and Grandma Wright's to light off some fireworks. The kids (and Kyle) had a lot of fun!
The next day we met up with them again to watch the Melaleuca fireworks. It was a lot of fun like always! We were in a nice grassy spot and Grandma and Grandpa brought their trailer.
Such cute little patriotic-looking kids :)
I love little Owen's face in this one:
I even did Hailee's hair all fun
Ice cream faces
It was a great Independence Day!
This month we also went to the yearly Wright Family Campout. It was fun just like in years past.
The little train...
The little train...
I researched it and found out this moth is actually called the "Mariposa de la muerte" or Butterfly of death. Also known as the black witch moth. In Mexico it is a symbol of impending death. ew. He didn't seem so scary but he was HUGE. The picture doesn't do justice to his size.
Dallin...
The older kids were loving the slide- Hailee took just a few minutes to get warmed up to it. Owen, on the other hand was pretty scared at first and not really loving it.
But then I took him down with me and he really liked it. It was funny because he liked it, but he would also cry at the bottom like he hated it, but then he would want to go again and again :)
We've been boating a lot this Summer. Kathleen and Dustin bought a boat and have invited us to go with them a lot. They taught me how to wake surf. Its pretty awesome! Its not quite the same as wakeboarding, but its pretty similar, you're just not strapped in, and you go on the outside of the wake and close to the boat. The trick is to find the "sweet" spot where you can let go of the rope and stay surfing on the wake. Its really fun!
The kids love coming and Dallin especially loves to swim every time we stop the boat!
We even had a fun boating trip with Grandpa Dave.
Wakeboarding-
Dallin and Blake on the tube. I have some pictures of them on the tube even from back when Dallin was only 2 years old :)
The first time I didn't get up...
But I did on the second try!
As I said before, Dallin loves to swim!
...and Hailee likes to ride in the boat :)
Dallin and I had some fun jumping into the lake
Its so awesome that we have this opportunity to go boating and enjoy the sunshine so much :) Some of the days we have gone have just been absolutely gorgeous. Here is a picture of some powered hang gliders that we saw at the end of our boating trip. The air was so still; it was beautiful! (they only look like dots in this picture)
We're not done playing yet... here are some pictures of us at the splash park in Rexburg. We even had a fun boating trip with Grandpa Dave.

Now me and Blake in the tube:
Knee boarding- I actually got up and had my knees in the right spot this time! Knee boarding is a lot of fun!The first time I didn't get up...
But I did on the second try!

I wasn't surprised when Dallin took off and just got all soaked. He was hard to find sometimes because he was having so much fun. He's so adventurous and LOVES the water!
If you look closely, you can see Dallin's face in this picture when he was spraying other kids with water (the kids liked it too) but he was having a blast!
Hailee on the other hand was a bit more reserved and hardly got wet. But she had fun too!
She sure knows how to pose for the camera!
Now there's little Owen. He did NOT like the spray park at first.
Look at that little bottom lip poking out
I finally showed him the little baby bubbling water and after he saw the little 8 month old babies playing in it and having fun, I think he decided it wasn't too scary :)
I can't forget one of the most important parts of July.... Dallin's Birthday! He turned 7! Wow! Where does the time go??
Dallin really likes these Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods things so I made a cake with them.
Opening Presents:
Kyle's brother Gary and his wife and her parents were up to visit. They were so nice to our kids. They spoiled all of them for Dallin's Birthday. He got a bicycle and a scooter along with all of his other nice presents. The other two kids got presents too!
Dallin loves all his toys he got. He's been building all his little Star Wars Legos sets too!
The night of Dallin's Birthday, we went to the movie in the park. Dallin had been planning on seeing it all Summer for his Birthday. So we went there and watched the Lego Movie on their giant screen outside. It was fun!
Here we are getting ready for the movie to start.
When Kyle's brother was here, he and his wife brought their beautiful large poodles. Dallin loved them especially this one named Cedar. They were really beautiful and so nice. It felt like petting a plush towel or rug. haha
Some other random pictures of the month:
Kathleen's Birthday Party. She had a slip 'n slide set up and a little pool for the kids. It was fun!
Kyle ran the Ririe Days Kelly Canyon half marathon again this year. He did awesome! He beat his previous time and made it under 2 hours. Way to go Kyle!
Here he is at the finish line (little Dallin ran in with him)
Little Hailee on the step. She wanted to pose for the camera
Dallin and just one of his boo-boos that he's gotten this month. This kid is still as accident-prone as ever... crashing his bike, or his scooter, or whatever, this kid is always getting hurt!
Silly ketchup and mustard
Mario and Princess Peach playing pretend. They do like each other once in a while :)
This is actually a picture from last December that Steve sent me of cute little Hailee posing like always :)
The kids and I were being weird one day and decided this was pretty funny... and a little creepy haha
Kiddos sleeping so peacefully :) I love these little munchkins!
...and sometimes I find them sleeping like this because one or the other gets scared of something
What a great month! I just love Summer!
