I am getting behind again like always, but I'm going to post June now before we get to the end of July and hopefully I'll post July in a couple of weeks :) I just like to take lots of pics!
This first picture is Dallin on his last day of 1st grade! Wow! I can't believe how big (and handsome!) he's getting!
Cute little friends (Owen and Dallin) playing the wii together :) On a date with my little guy. He is such a cutie! He loves himself some McDonald's!
Gross. Dipping his apples and ketchup. This kid LOVES ketchup
Messy face guy :)
Playing on the trampoline with my littles. I love them so much!
Don't laugh at my tucked in shirt, but I wanted to show the evidence that an ol' lady like me can do a flip on the trampoline :)
I just thought this was too cute- Care Bear all buckled up and ready to go with Hailee :)
Hailee with some flowers that Daddy picked up for her. What a cutie!
So, our Dodge Intrepid died. It had 170,000 miles on it, which wasn't too much, but I guess these engines are notorious for falling apart at about 130,000 miles. So I'm lucky it lasted that long. The mechanic told me it wasn't even worth fixing or putting in a new engine because it would probably just do the same thing. So we started looking for a cheap replacement car. We thought maybe going to Utah would be a good place to shop since there aren't a lot of options up here and the cars are more expensive. Well, to make a long story short, we drove around all weekend looking for cars, and didn't find one decent enough for a good price. I was glad I knew Spanish because almost all the people that we talked with were Spanish speakers. I was pretty bummed that we didn't find a car on our trip, but we did have some time to do some fun things with the kids. They really loved our little trip :)
At the Salt Lake Temple:
The Crossroads Mall. It was cool, because right after we snapped this picture, we were walking and we stumbled upon my Mission President and his wife eating lunch. It was so neat to see them and talk with them for a minute! I can't believe the coincidence :)
We made sure to stop at some yummy eating places that we don't have in Idaho-
In N' Out
and Krispy Kreme!! YUMMMMM
The kids were pretty excited to see their donuts getting made :)
We went on our little Utah trip and came back with nothing, but then the next day, we found a little 1999 Honda Civic for sale just down the road in Ucon. It wasn't the best deal ever, but it'll work for us hopefully for as long as we need it to. :)
Here's a picture of "Maxi". Its funny because she is my "dream" car from 15 years ago. I always wanted a little four door Honda Civic back when I was in High School and College. She does get pretty good gas mileage!
...just another beautiful Idaho sunset...
Kyle did the Bone and Back Relay again this year. He did great! I wussed out and didn't do it.
We went up to Driggs the weekend before the 4th of July to check out their firework show. It was so cold that day! We were freezing! But it was so worth the trip up there (but I don't know about the 2 hour wait to drive home) But it was a great show!
Waiting for the show...
...It's about to begin!
They even had smiley face fireworks!
So that sums up our June, but just wait for the next post- July was even more full of fun!
