The four kiddos at Grandpa and Grandma Wright's house for fireworks. All of them had fun except the timid little guy that would only watch after I had the blanket wrapped all around him and only his eyes peeking out. After it was over he said he really liked it though!

I know this is kind of weird, but while we were waiting for the fireworks to start, Hailee came up with this idea to make a heart out of my feet and then all of the kids wanted to try. Haha!
We tried out the new place for fireworks this year at Snake River Landing. It was great! (Except trying to get home afterward took forever)

We got to go floating down the river by Mack's Inn again this year with Kyle's family including his brother Gary who was up visiting. It's so beautiful up there!

The big story of the day was when Grandpa accidentally tipped the canoe over and he and Grandma fell in. They were both okay though and we needed a funny story to share!

Guess what that is? It's a tiny funnel cloud! I have always had a fascination with tornadoes and have always wanted to see one. I actually had a huge fear of tornadoes as a kid, but it later turned into a fascination, so whenever there is a storm, I always watch the clouds and scan the skies for a funnel cloud. The other day we were sitting outside watching the storm clouds go by when suddenly Hailee says, "Look! It's a tornado!" Sure enough, it was a tiny funnel cloud in the distance. I got way more excited than I should have, but it really was cool. The funnel cloud was actually more over by Ririe. The second picture was taken by my friend who was over there at the time.
Oh just some more pictures of fun times at the lake with Kathleen! Surfing, losing the surfboard, tubing reeeaally slow with the little kids and one between my legs haha! Dustin's brother came and brought his cool old 1977 jet ski that you can only ride while standing or kneeling. I got to try it out and it was so fun! I didn't realize how tricky it is! I may be covered in bruises from it haha

Funny random picture. We got home, and I look back in my rear view mirror to see Laila and Owen asleep, and Hailee pulling a funny face at me in her princess tiara.
I used to collect these cool toys called "Precious Places" when I was a kid. They seriously were some of the best toys ever invented! Well, I have been trying to buy a few more off of ebay when I see a good deal so these kids can have a nice set to play with.
