Alright, here is the July post that I promised! I'm being on the ball now that I have June posted, and I'm getting caught up with July! We did a lot of fun things in July. I definitely didn't want to let the Summer go to waste! (Also, I had a LOT of unpacking to do in the new house, so I definitely wanted to procrastinate unpacking!)
These pictures are from the 4th of July
Cute little Owen
Hailee eating watermelon. Nothing more classic then a little girl in a USA shirt eating watermelon on the 4th of July.Dallin just having fun being a goof like always
Such cuties!
Beautiful
Owen was so cute on the grass. He didn't want his feet (or even entire legs really) to touch the grass, so he would sit there and hold them up the whole time. I bet he got a good ab workout! haha
Dallin- Love this little guy to pieces!
MORE watermelon! I swear my kids probably ate an entire watermelon by themselves!
Here are some pictures at the Wright Family Reunion that took place on July 6th. We didn't stay the night this year (Kyle had a lot of schoolwork to get done) but we went up on Saturday morning. The kids had the fun traditional lawnmower train-ride.
Then the AWESOME big waterslide!
Look how cute- if you look closely, you can see Dallin and Hailee holding hands walking to the top of the slide.
Hailee was a bit of a scaredy-cat, so she didn't want to go on the slide herself. She only wanted to go down with me, so... I had a blast going down the slide a lot too!
This month Kyle graduated! In the Spring of 2012 he started up again online to finish what he had started many years ago, and figured out a path to be able to finish in just over a year part-time. He graduated in University Studies with a minor in English. I'm proud of this guy!
We attempted to take some pictures when we got home, since we forgot to take our picture up on campus. (Dallin didn't want his picture taken- so he was inside)
Luckily our neighbor saw us, and helped us take a few more pictures of our family. (I figured out why Dallin didn't want his picture taken- poor little guy always has such a hard time keeping his eyes open when we try to take his picture outside!)
Dallin finished up his little season of YMCA Soccer. He was the oldest on his team (the ages are 3-5 year olds, and he was 5 until it ended (but the day after was his Birthday when he turned 6 :)
Dallin did a really good job and usually helped make several goals each game!
Here's his little team
On the field
Little Sister watching
Little brother cheering him on
Its probably hard to see, but if you look closely, you can see Dallin is running in a funny way with his arms down. This particular game, he was pretending to be some type of Super Hero while he was running. It was too funny!
Job well done!
My cutie pies!
Dallin turned the big 6! I can't believe how fast he's growing up!
This was the first time I decided to make a real decorative cake. It didn't take that long to make, it was delicious, and it ended up pretty cute! (Mario Kart theme)
Opening presents
Just before we sang to him and he blew out his candles.
We had a fun boating trip to Ririe Reservoir with my Dad. Dallin LOVED it! Hailee, not so much, and Owen was pretty alright for just being a little guy having to wear a life-jacket all day. We really had a lot of fun. I invited my friend Becki with her kids, and we all had a blast. I loved how our dock was close enough to the shore that we could swim there and play in the mud for a bit.
Little trooper :)
Tubing!
Owen really is such a good, easy-going baby!
Tubing with my friend Becki
Wakeboarding!
Taking off...
Here we go!
I'm always scared after not going for a couple of years (and having a baby) that I'm not going to make it, but sure enough, it was like riding a bike!
I'm kind of a chicken when it comes to jumps, so when I know I'm coming to the end, a lot of times I will make a big jump and let go (to prevent a face plant) So here is a picture of me surrendering to the wake :)
So after a fun, long day, unfortunately, here was the effect on our little guy after being outside at the lake. I had put sunscreen on him several times, and he was always wearing a hat, but unfortunately, I missed some spots, and he got a little burned on his face. He was still a little trooper though!
Another fun little adventure we had was also with my friend Becki. She let us come with her to her parents' house where they irrigate their lawn every Tuesday. I knew the kids would have a great time! Here's Dallin playing with his friends Tyler and Baylie

After playing in the irrigation, we had another little adventure to a farm!
Feeding the calves.

Here's just a little photo-shoot with my little kiddos

Here are some more random pictures from the month:
Kyle getting ready to eat his Big Jud!
All three kiddos in the bath- (probably won't ever happen again :) haha
I thought this was a cute picture. Dallin playing the Wii with his friend that came over, and there is Owen in the middle checking it all out. I just thought that was super cute!
I have a love/dislike relationship with where our house is situated, but I think it really is growing into more of a love than dislike the longer we live here. The reason being, is we are in a cul-de-sac, but we are on the outside of the subdivision so there is a road on the backside of the house. Our backyard is pretty skinny, but our side yards are huge. Luckily it is a country road so we don't have a lot of cars going by- maybe a couple every hour or so, or they come in spurts. I really LOVE having a view behind us instead of just a row of houses, so that is great- and I really love watching the storms roll in from the back step. It really is quite nice. So if I can handle a truck or car driving by once-in-awhile, I can have my nice unobstructed view from the backside of the house. Its not quite the complete country-living that I want to have someday, but we're getting closer :)
